In ancient Greek mythology, the Muses were the inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts. They were considered the source of the knowledge embodied in the poetry, lyric songs, and myths that were related orally for centuries in ancient Greek culture.
As we mentioned in our newsletter and our social media apps, we are thrilled to see our first unique patterned fabrics collection finally out for all of you to enjoy!
We wanted to explore the patterned fabrics world but to be totally honest, we were a little bit afraid in the beginning. Our plain colors and minimalist style is our signature and at the same time is a bit the opposite to the patterned kind of style. Anyhow, we were working hard to try to make both worlds collide, and after some months “The Muses” come to life.
The name “The Muses” was perfect as they were the inspiration for a lot of people in Greek Mythology and that is how we felt when we were selecting the fabrics for this collection, very inspired to create something new and different from our previous collections. Also, the muses governed arts in their many forms and we wanted our new collection to emulate art also, fabrics that could reflect more than just a print.
